David Jones has extensive experience consulting in all aspects of the litigation process including litigation database structure and design, data manipulation, electronic evidence, production work flow, coding facilities, online deal rooms, demonstrative development and trial presentation. He is a database and Windows® programming expert and is an invaluable asset in both the war room and the courtroom.
Over the past several years, David has supported over 30 cases in California alone, working for clients such as Holland & Knight, Browne & Woods, Sonnenschein, Nath & Rosenthal, Pfeiffer Thigpen & Fitzgibbon, Thelen & Reid and Irell & Manella. He has worked on cases involving patent infringement and antitrust and has supported numerous large scale contract suits: most notably, State of California vs. Lloyds of London, et al. (a.k.a., the “Stringfellow” matter), Accuchex vs. Paychex and Payroll Partnership vs. Paychex (two matters of a 13 case suite), Kevin vs. Universal Studios and Swiss VC vs. Pepper Hamilton.
Based in Los Angeles, David is a Managing Director on the TrialPoint litigation support team. He served as architect in the development of Trial Point’s proprietary presentation software, TrialPoint for MS. He became a partner to The Strategic Image in 2005.
Prior to entering the litigation field, David held positions at the United States House of Representatives, receiving foreign dignitaries and supporting the House leadership staff through two State of the Union addresses. He holds a B.A. in Political Science from American University in Washington, D.C. and in 2004-05, lectured at Pepperdine University Law School on the use of technology in the courtroom.
